About the event

A high-profile case has a lot of us reviewing our own caseloads. Second-guessing our notes. Wondering if we would have caught what someone else may have missed. That instinct makes sense. So let's use it for something.

This is a practical overview of the systems every private practice should have in place, the ones that keep you, your practice, and your clients on solid ground. It's built for private practice, solo or group, where you're the one holding these decisions. This is not a breakdown of any case, and it is not a verdict on anyone's care. It's a working hour on what actually makes you more prepared.

We'll cover:

  • Screening and assessing on the consultation call

  • Knowing when to refer out

  • Coordinating with prescribers

  • Documentation that protects you

  • Using supervision and consultation con confianza

You'll leave with steps you can put in place right away, and more confidence in the systems already holding your practice up.

Attend live and you'll get the Consultation Call Assessment Guide, a set of sample assessment questions built for your consultation calls.

This Live Training is open to ALL. We'd love to have you with us!

Hosted By...

Kathy Acosta, LCSW is a co-founder of the Latinx Practice Collective who built her own group practice from the ground up and now mentors other clinicians through the exact decisions she once had to make alone. She knows what it costs to figure this out without anyone showing you the way, and she brings that same clarity to every therapist she works with.

Vanessa De Jesus Guzman, LPC, NCC is a co-founder of the Latinx Practice Collective and a licensed therapist with over twenty years of experience serving children, families, and professionals. She built her own practice while navigating the same uncertainty she now helps others move through with more confidence.

Both Kathy and Vanessa have been in practice for 7+ years each, and they've built the Latinx Practice Collective so that no one has to make these decisions alone the way they once did.
