Hello, my name is Karol I’m a licensed clinical social worker and help women of color become more comfortable in their own skin, free themselves of others’ expectations and experience what makes them happy. Therapy is a process that allows for healing through introspection and meaningful connection. Whether you are facing a new challenge in your life or trying to make sense of past events, I help my clients learn they do not have to navigate this alone. I approach therapy as a cooperative partnership. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages individuals to express their feelings, explore their inner strengths, and find greater understanding of themselves in an effort to promote positive change. I use a variety of treatment models including CBT, ACT, Narrative therapy, and Somatic work. I truly believe the therapeutic alliance can lead to healing. There is power in feeling heard and validated and I have great respect for every individual's personal story.
